About Embellishment Village - If it's not embellished, it's not finished!

About Us

Eleanor Love, the owner of Embellishment Village, has always had a love affair with creating art, whether it be with textiles, paint or mixed media or designing jewelry. A hunter and gatherer, Eleanor is always on the look out for what is new, inspiring and hard to find.  In May 2015, Eleanor purchased Embellishment Village from Betty and Greg Blais.  Eleanor is also the owner of MeinkeToy Fiber Art and Mixed Media Supplies

In 2002, Betty and her husband Greg started Embellishment Village in response to repeated student requests for sources of small quantities of embellishment materials. Betty's research revealed no such source, so Embellishment Village was born to fill the void.

By exploring our site, you'll quickly learn that we not only carry Stencils, Beads, Charms, Yarns and Sequins, but we also specialize in supplying Patterns coupled with prepackaged Embellishment Kits. These contain all of the embellishments needed to complete the project defined by the pattern.

The latest addition to Embellishment Village was Hot Fix Angelina Fibers and Films.  Angelina Hot Fix Fibers come in Straight Cut, Crimped and Metallic and are available in single bags, various sampler packs and bulk packaging.  Angelina Film is available in single colors and various sampler packs.

Click here to see Betty Blais' new vodcast on Angelina Basics.  There are 2 versions, one for QuickTime players and one for Windows Media Viewers.  Betty covers all the basic techniques for working with Angelina, including bonding, blending, layering and much more!  Check in often for more vodcasts too!

Betty has also written the booklet "Amazing Angelina" to help you get started with this fun fiber and "More Amazing Angelina" to take you the next step. We invite you to explore our innovative products.
